Gaga over goo goos

These past weeks, my mind's drifting into a new world of balls they call themselves as GOO. Since my brother introduced them to me in December 25 last year, I got addicted to the GOOs that I dream of them. Lol. I haven't even thought that I will be interested in a computer game based on physics (defined as physics-based puzzle). Just the thought of 'physics" makes me cringe. But because I love puzzles, I tried the game and now, I am "constructing" my way (bridges and towers) in the 3rd chapter.
The game has 5 Chapters split in different levels. Of course as you go higher, the obstacles (fire, hills, spikes, or cliffs) and the challenges become more and more difficult. I also like the game because the Level titles are witty and the drawings are gothic but colorful (imagine Tim Burton + Dr. Seuss). As you play the game, you are being "accompanied" by this mysterious but witty Sign Painter that gives clues to attaining the objectives.

The Sign Painter's clues are already puzzling so do not worry if you fail the level because you can always easily press "retry" ;)Created in 2008 by Ron Carmel and Kyle Gabler (hence the 2D Boy company), two game developers whose goal is "to make games that everyone can play, with gameplay nobody has seen before". On that same year, the game won the Design Innovation Award and the technical Excellence Award by the Independent Games Festival. And no wonder in 2010, when the World of Goo was released in iPad, it bagged the iPad Game of the Year.

Visit the game's official site to learn more about the game or download to your PC.
